沃拉里斯航空成立於2004年，成立之初名為 Vuela Airlines，為墨西哥一家廉價航空公司。總部位於墨西哥城，樞紐港為墨西哥城國際機場（Mexico City International Airport）與瓜達拉哈拉科斯蒂利亞國際機場（Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla Guadalajara International Airport）。

沃拉里斯航空機隊全屬空中巴士單走道客機：A319、A320、A320neo及A321，大量航點位於墨西哥與美國，僅4個航點位於中美洲其他國家。
